I’ve just finished my MA degree in film at the IFSW in Newport (got a pass with merit so I put letters after my name now if I want). The Legend Of Don Williams is the culmination of that. It is also the first of the ‘Pontypridd Tales’. I plan on doing a new one every year depending on £££. I have written a further five or six in the series and am working on a follow up to ‘The Legend Of Don Williams’ (I think it’s good but it’s BIG. Yep, £££). So that’s what I want to do. Make films.

The best thing about the production was the crew. This was my first proper shoot. Certainly the first time on a set. I can only hope that the other times will be as enjoyable. I want all the crew to come back and help make the rest in the series. That would be i
deal.

Rhiannon is going into her second year of a BA degree course in Animation at Newport university. This is her first attempt at producing. Animation is still her first love but Rhiannon intends to branch out and work on future live action projects in the near future. Rhiannon recently helped produce James Dranes ‘An Unfamiliar Ceiling’.

Merthyr born James is also in the closing stages of his MA degree in film. James is currently working on two other projects, one of which, ‘An Unfamiliar Ceiling’ he will direct. The picture is taken from the shoot of that production.
