Alun is a short film and music promo maker originally from the Twin Peaks like mountains of Ceredigion but now based just outside Cardiff, South Wales. His first works won a JVC Digital Video Award, have being screened and nominated in the Cardiff International Film Festival, Bristol’s Submerge Festival, Cheltenham’s Viewfinder Film Festival and repeatedly viewed on SKY TV before he won the Swansea Bay Film Festival in June 2006. In June 2007 Alun won TheExperiment Best New Film maker Award. He came aboard The Legend of Don Williams after a friend let him know that Tony Evans was looking for crew in the small town he'd just moved to and, after reading the script, felt it was something he really wanted to be involved in. The rest is legend. |

21 year old Perkins lists his roles on the film as Key Grip, sound assistant and a general runner arounder. His funniest moment was an outtake in a Trallwn lane with Owain who played Bob The Magpie. I might make the extras on the DVD. Greg enjoyed the “constant ‘Wayne’s World’ quotes that us through the longer days and Alun kindly reminding our little Chav friend to watch out for the cables in case he hurt himself! Just generally hanging around with the cast and crew.” |
|
21 year old Bambi also was a key stand in about three different scenes. He claims his best moment was “being a lostprophet for 30 seconds” when he stood in for Ian. A low point was when he got hit in the head with a bag of cans by “a pikey”. Another high was a forty minute conversation about the history of Star Wars and working on Don Williams with a “kick ass crew and cast”. |

Gareth Bonello is studying for an MA in Film from UWN and is keen to make wildlife documentaries. He also works in a museum and is a Welsh folk singer. A lasting memory of his is “seeing a Tom Jones lookalike sitting next to the Lostprophets. It was quite surreal! Although the funniest thing was “Dorien screaming "that's MINE!" when a drunk ponty boy tried to pinch his pint”. |

Craig is into his third and final year of a BA Film and Video degree at the International Film School Of Wales in Newport. He has worked on many short films in this time and gained valuable experience using a variety of different cameras. His enthusiasm for the craft as well as a good eye make Craig a key player. |
