Up at 1000 to have a chat with some folk down the market. Just get permissions like. Easy enough. Keith in the market agreed. Job done. Some people are cool. Hear that Mr Vicar?
Had a bit of time before shooting so Rhiannon and I bought a variety of welsh cakes for the crew. I thought Bambi was gonna cry with joy. They were nice though.
We split into two units again. Speeded things up.
Not enough though. We were still running behind. Steffan Thomas arrived to play James. He has a good deep voice for a young fella does Steffan. Came all the way from Neath. Good boy. Lot of commitment. He'll do well I think.

We got to the crem at 16.45. It closes at 17.00. we rushed like hell but weren't quick enough. I managed to convince (I dunno how) the guy in charge of locking the gates to give us 30 mins more. We got the shots done and we were away. Next stop subway alley.

The subway is a the bottom of Mill Street. Simple enough scene but around the 18.00 mark some idiots come out of the woodwork. Being in a subway their voices carry too. Had a couple of ass clowns down the one end. Be honest I don't think they even knew that they were doing anything annoying. Some people live in ignorant bliss. Thick heads.

Dorien and Steffan did the scene. We were there 40 mins or so. Steffan has got a cracking little stare on him. Before long I yelled “Cut!” and that was that for Mr Dorien Thomas. He put a lot of work into the role. They were long days and he complained little. He was very helpful and encouraging of me and I think as the week went on I improved. He would always tell me to talk to him like he's an actor. I tended to talk about why I'm doing something in relation to how the next scene will play in the edit. It doesn't help an actor. I think I improved in that way at least.

We then took the crew for a Chinese buffet. It was nice to see everyone relax and just chat. It was also nice to see who the show off's with the chop sticks were. After that, fittingly, we headed over to Globetrotters for after shoot drinks. And more drinks. The crew had a lot to drink that night. There was a lot of bonding. They were a good bunch I defo wanna work with them again. There is a prequel. Anyone up for it?
